Of autoricksaws in Bangalore

Pardon my stuck-uppity-ness, but i believe the name "Bangalore" still suits this city rather than "Bengaluru", because of how American it sounds- more than the latter at least. Besides everything galores here.
Today morning, cold as it was i dressed warmly and prepared to go to my offices. Not owning a personal transport i had to invariably depend on the autorickshaws which throng this city.
And so we start negotiating.
"MG Road", I say.
"150. Its 130 by meter.", he says.
"Its only 110 by meter!"
"But I'll have to come back empty."
"Its the start of the day!"
"okay meter plus 10?"
And i say okay. We both sense that each has done this before. He is looking for a soft target and i am just looking for a fair deal. And another day starts..
